Wednesday 22nd July 2020 – Great Granilly – Arthur’s Porth 0.5nm

Our massive sail today all of half a mile into a slightly more sheltered anchorage

The wind is now blowing in from the west so we moved Talavera into a neighbouring cove with better cover for tonight. This cove is known as Arthur’s Porth. The water here is very clear and well stocked with tiny silvery 4” fish which are easily seen in large shoals, no wonder the gulls and seals look well fed.

Lots of little fishes

We took Artie for a rock climbing experience, as you can see from the pictures he wasn’t at all impressed.

Other than seals, gulls and cormorants there isn’t much here, just fabulous rock formations and tranquility.

And the odd jellyfish
Although very nosy they keep their distance mind you they sneak up when you don’t have a camera to hand!!!
Just a quick reminder episode 15 is waiting and episode 16 will be live from Sunday at 6 am.
