Sunday 19th July 2020 – Old Grimsby (Tresco) to Rushy Bay (Bryher) – 4 miles

This was our track today

We woke up just in time to find we were closer to the lovely sandy beach than we wished, there was very little water under us, but not a drama, just re-set the anchor further out in deeper water.

Talavera alone in Old Grimsby Harbour

Today we walked around the beautiful, quaint and very quiet, island of Tresco. Everywhere we looked we saw another aspect of these stunning islands, still photographs really don’t do this location justice, the Scillies are just breathtaking. Flowers are in full bloom and vibrant orange nasturtiums grow wild in the hedgerows.

We took are few pictures of the cottages as we strolled along a lane that looked as though it belonged on a Quality Street tin. The pub garden had some tables and chairs made to look like crab claws which were fun for kiddies to sit on, if there were any, and also a sculpture of dolphins set against a rugged cliff face which was pretty impressive.
