As soon as we woke this morning we moved the boat over to Port Cressa, which only took us 40 minutes to reach. This is another beautiful quiet anchorage but it has the advantage of being a close walk into the main town on the Scillies – which even has a Co op and a bank!

The garage topped up our fuel can, so hopefully the outboard motor should start.
The Mermaid pub beckoned for a pint, after all we needed to toast, albeit at a distance, our grand daughter Lily-Marie’s 11th birthday and friends Cath and Harry’s 42nd wedding anniversary. The town hasn’t changed much since last year when we spent a fortnight island hopping, so at least we can’t get lost when out walking.

This cove is sheltered and the boat isn’t rolling about so we shall probably stay here for a few days as the location is perfect. The good part is that we have a very good 4G signal so the wifi onboard is working brilliantly.

It’s now 1900 and sea mist is moving in, so tonight Artie will have to forego his walk, as his fur is a perfectly camouflaged fog grey and not only do we not want to loose him, but we want to be able to see the boat well enough to row back to it, as the dinghy donkey still won’t start…

It has been a lovely day just wandering about the lanes and chilling out.

Lovely, lovely, lovely,I’m green with envy.xxx
